"Unknown software error. Click "OK" to exit" after Windows update

Windows 11 version 24H2, can lead to issues opening the EXScan HX v1.4.1.2 software. 

You can receive the following error message: 

Thankfully this is an easy fix. You just have to replace a file that can be found in the scan software's installation path. 

1. Go to the scan software's installation path 
   
2. Replace the "mimalloc.dll" file with the file attached
