In this article, we will tell you step by step how to install the software and activate your scanner after you get the EinScan SP/SE scanner.
Software Installation
Download the software
First, go to the site at this link and select the model of your EinScan scanner. In this case, you need to select EinScan-SE or EinScan-SP and click on "Software" section.
On the newly opened page, you will see the latest version of the ExScan S software for the EinScan SE and EinScan SP scanners.
For the download to be available, you must fill out the form completely.
After that sending the form, the download will start automatically.
Installation
After downloading the installation file for our software, you can now run it and start the installation.
After starting the installation, this window will open, and you will have the option to install in the language you want.
Click "Next" on the first page.
In the "License Agreement" step, click "I Agree".
Click "Next" again in the next step.
In this step, you will select the installation location. We recommend that you do not change the default location.
After the installation is complete, the following page will appear. Click "Finish" to close the installation and start the program.
Scanner activation
After opening the application for the first time, you will see the following page. Select the S model you have.
Then the following activation page will open, here click on "Online Activation".
If the activation process is completed successfully, you will see the following message.
If the activation process was not successful, click the 'i' in the upper-right part of the window here and select "Local Activation".
In the window that opens, select the PLE file you have and complete the activation process. If you do not have this file, please contact the support team via einscan_support@shining3d.com and request this file.
After completing all of these steps, you can finally do the calibration (EinScan SE/SP - Calibration tutorial) and proceed with your first scan.
