Q: What's the battery life of the EinScan Rigil?
A: EinScan Rigil can deliver maximum scan time 3.5-4 hours for each time provided 2 rechargeable batteries. You can also extended the battery life by connecting a 65W PD3.0 USB-C power bank.
Q: What's the minimum and maximum part size that can be scanned by EinScan Rigil?
A: The Laser 7 lines mode is designed to scan fine details and small parts because of its narrow working distance, the minimum parts can be captured is around 5cm. Thanks to the big FOV provided in IR mode, making it even more efficient for scanning big parts up to 5m (Also available under 38 cross laser line mode). The limit can be extended by align multiple projects.
Q: Except processing data on EinScan Rigil itself, is there another way to process data?
A: Accompany with EinScan Rigil, we also provided the new designed PC software EXScan Rigil, which delivers powerful functions and streamlined user experience as we always do. The EXScan Rigil can support multiple projects and resolution fusion and provides more data editing tools with customized parameters settings.
Q: How to get most accurate data when scanning big parts?
A: EinScan Rigil supports global markers scanning, this requires twice scanning, first only scanning markers with projectors off to get accurate markers position reading.
Q: What is texture alignment used for in Laser HD mode?
A: The texture alignment provided in Laser HD mode is dedicate to help scaning object with difficult material surfaces, less feature but rich texture like metalic paintings or vases.
Q: Can EinScan Rigil scan outdoor?
A: We are totally awarded that our customers will bring EinScan Rigil to any sites, outdoor scanning is one of the major features being considered when we designed this product. All modes provided by EinScan Rigil can be used for outdoor scanning and there is a specific outdoor mode.
Q: Why will I need the EinScan Rigil?
A: The EinScan Rigil delivers a fully wireless, standalone 3D scanning experience. It offers the perfect balance of freedom and efficiency, ensuring reliable results with versatile, user-friendly operation. Equipped with both laser and infrared light, the device adapts to a wide range of materials and excels at capturing detailed textures. Which makes it an idea scanner for archaeology & heritage preservation, manufacturing, energy, forensics and other industries.
Q: Will marker-free laser scanning mode be coming to the device only mode? Or will it always needs pc/laptop?
A: With software updates in the future, the device itself can also support it. Coming soon!
Q: Does EinScan Rigil can switch IR mode to the laser mode when I scan a huge object with some small details?
A: Due to the differences in the basic algorithms for generating 3D data between laser mode and IR mode, it is not possible to switch between them within a single project.
Q: What are the export data formats?
A: EinScan Rigil and EXScan Rigil support export in STL; OBJ; PLY; 3MF.
