Libre Cannot Connect to the PC

can onlyAlthough Libre can process mesh on the scanner alone, it can also connect to the PC for data post-processing. Especially for projects align function which only can be done in ExScan Libre Software. This article listed some solutions for failed connection to the PC.


Firstly, ensure that you are utilizing the most recent version of the EXScan Libre software. The download link can be found here


For Wireless Connection:

  1. Ensure that both the scanner and the PC are connected to the same wireless local area network (WLAN), with stable and reliable connections.
  2. In the event of no available WiFi network or unstable router signal, users may consider establishing a connection via the PC's mobile hotspot functionality.


For Ethernet/USB type C Cable Connection:

  1. Attempt to connect a different device to the port on the PC to verify if the USB/Ethernet port on the PC is functioning properly.
  2. Attempt to validate the functionality of the scanner's connection by trying out both Ethernet and USB connectivity.
